Actress Michelle Monaghan fulfilled a 15 year-old dream of bungy jumping off the Kawarau bridge.

Actress Michelle Monaghan has been making the most of her trip to New Zealand so much so she doesn't want to leave.

In an Instagram post, Monaghan said "yeah, so mom, dad...I'm never coming home... #iheartnewzealand #arrowtown".

The Mission:Impossible 6 actress is in Queenstown to film the latest instalment of the franchise. 

However her filming schedule has not stopped her from enjoying the adventure capital of the world.

Monaghan has been documenting her trip down south on Facebook for her fans to see.

Last friday the actress posted a photo of herself on the Shotover Jet, captioned "Bucket list".

She followed up her run around the Shotover Canyons with a trip up the Queenstown Gondola and Luge.
The adrenaline junkie did not stop there though, fulfilling yet another dream on her trip to New Zealand.
On Monday Monaghan bungy jumped off the Kawarau Bridge, the first commercial bungy jump in the world.

She posted a series of photos as well as a video of the jump to social media. 
"Dreams do come true. I've wanted to do this, in this exact spot for the last 15 years. I'm a complete adrenaline junkie and I can thank my dad for that.  #chipofftheoldblock  #wheninqueenstown," the caption said. 
Mission: Impossible is filming at Rees Valley, with the Central Otago set standing in for Iraq in the movie.
