Tila Tequila was the star of an MTV reality show, but she may become better known for what appears to be a very public mental breakdown.

In the past week, she has ignited a furious reaction with her blogs and Facebook posts.

She bizarrely claimed that Fast and Furious star Paul Walker was not killed in an accident, but that his death last week was the result of a "ritualistic murder".

She offered no explanation for her strange stance but gave the same explanation for the death of her fiance, Casey Johnson, who died last year from diabetes complications.

But few are sympathising with Tequila's seeming mental decline after she posted a blog titled Why I Sympathize with Hitler on her Facebook page.

In the blog, she said Adolf Hitler was a "special and sweet kid who had a dream to become a painter ... Unfortunately, the art schools did not feel the same as he and they rejected him.

"Fast forward a few years later he was roughed up and bullied on top of that by the same people he once loved. His Name [sic] was Hitler."

She then went on to compare herself to Hitler, saying she had also been "mocked" and "rejected".

In another blog posted on the same day, she said: "I never said I hated anyone, but just because I feel sympathy, compassion, and forgiveness for others such as Hitler means I am now a monster? All for trying to open your eyes to the truth that Hitler was NOT as bad as he was painted out to be?"

She posted the blog with a picture of herself wearing a swastika arm band, Nazi uniform hat and holding a gun.

She has nearly two million Facebook followers and the posts created a furore.

But, Tequila, 32, whose real name is Tila Ngyuen, was unapologetic, replying to commentors' criticism, saying: "I AM HITLER REBORN!"

Facebook removed some of the posts and blocked her from posting for 30 days.

In reaction, she ranted on her blog, saying "Jewbook's" attempts to block her had backfired because "I am now the world's #2 most talked about on Google".

She also insisted she was not being anti-Semitic.

"Again this is not about the Jewish people as I have stated time and time again. This is about the FAKEJEWS! THE KHAZARS & THE ZIONIST NEW WORLD ORDER!!!!!!"

In a separate rant, posted on Wednesday, she called Hitler a "prophet" and said: "I know I have been getting a ton of media backlash for being one of the few brave ones who dare speak the truth."

Tequila has had a history of mental illness and drug abuse. She was due to appear on reality television show Celebrity Rehab, but pulled out at the last minute, while Radar Online reports she suffered a brain aneurysm in 2012 and a subsequent drug overdose left her temporarily unable to speak properly.
