Riddick star Vin Diesel has posted a mind-boggling video that shows him lip-synching to Katy Perry's Dark Horse and dancing to Beyonce's Drunk In Love.

The 46-year-old (yes, that's right: 46-years!) actor today shared this 7-minute Dadaistic piece of beauty with his 63 million Facebook fans.

This dance performance is more awkward than that time when your favourite drunk relative decided to bust a move at the last family shenanigans.

Diesel sings, places his head creepily close to the camera before dancing his way through Juicy J's rap.

Then he takes a moment to address his fans:

"Guys I'm just . . . I'm excited I'm happy, and calling you guys or shouting out to you guys to say thank you. Universal just called me and told me that Riddick is No. 1 on the DVD charts.

"There's no way in the world Riddick would have been made without you guys, you know that ... remember how arduous of a road it was to get them to make it rated R and to do it with such a low budget.

"And it's a win for all of us, and really really really thank you so much.

"Yeah, I'm excited. Of course, Universal is also saying they want to develop the next one!"

And then the awkward dance continues before Diesel shares his thoughts about Monday's Grammys with his fans.

"Did you guys see the Grammys last night?" he asks.

"Like I said, I couldn't go because I had to work, I had to do just all the work that goes into getting ready to get back up and shooting Fast and Furious 7, so I couldn't have the luxury of going and checking out all the cool performances but some of them were kinda ... "

And that's when he turns on Beyonce's Drunk in Love and we are treated to dance moves that are hard to forget.

But the highlight of the video comes when he - sexy like a drunk, crotch-grabbing baby penguin - dances to Beyonce's "surfboard" lyrics.

Don't we all sometimes wish that the internet was never invented?
