Katy Perry says she "pulled away" from Miley Cyrus' kiss initially.

Whilst attending a concert on Cyrus' Bangerz Tour over a week ago, Perry was famously smooched by the 21-year-old star.

And the Roar singer jokes while receiving the front row kiss she grew concerned over where Miley's mouth has been.

"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away," Katy revealed during an an appearance on Australian TV programme Sunrise.

"God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"
Miley was in the middle of performing her track Adore You when she saw Katy in the crowd and leaned in for the embrace.

She later paid homage to her musical peer.

"I just kissed a girl and I really liked it a lot," Cyrus shared of their moment together with fans, referencing Katy's smash hit I Kissed A Girl.

Just days after she caused a stir by locking lips with Katy, Miley enjoyed a very public smooch with another fellow songstress, Brooke Candy.

The pop star shared a steamy photo of herself on Twitter last Thursday, after Brooke posted a snap of their evening together, captioned simply: "YUM."

Apparently Brooke recently signed to RCA, and Miley just wanted to make sure she felt like a part of the family.

"Regram @BR00KECANDY AYYY KAYY AYYY my new label sista! Welcome to @RCA bishhhy! Happy 2 have you apart of da fam bam!" Miley wrote.
