Arnold Schwarzenegger is giving one lucky man a chance to crush anything he wants in his tank.

American Alex Mihelick won a charity raffle to ride in the 66-year-old action star's Patton M47 tank and crush any object he so desires.

He entered the raffle after seeing a video posted online for Schwarzenegger's charity After-School All-Stars, which runs programmes for nearly 90,000 low-income children across the United States.

In it Schwarzenegger rolls around in the tank he bought in 1992, which is the same make as the one he rode in as an 18-year-old in the Austrian Army, crushing everything from a taxi, 66 birthday cakes, bubble wrap and a giant Easter egg while Final Countdown plays in the background.

The raffle reportedly raised US$500,000 (NZ$585,000) for the charity, which will be matched by Schwarzenegger.

The Dallas resident took to Twitter to express his excitement about getting the winning phone call from Schwarzenegger.

He remained undecided about what he would actually crush, with all to be revealed when he travels to Los Angeles in the next month to meet the big man and do a whole lot of crushing.
