New Zealand documentary Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls has made more than $1 million in just four weeks at the box office.
Directed by Leanne Pooley the film documents the lives of comedy duo, activists and entertainers, Jools and Lynda Topp.
It opened on April 9 and broke the records for best opening day and best opening weekend of a New Zealand documentary.
Other New Zealand films to reach the $1m mark include Second Hand Wedding, Whale Rider, Sione's Wedding and The World's Fastest Indian.
Film Commission chief executive Graeme Mason said hitting the million mark meant New Zealanders were telling their friends that this was a film worth seeing on the big screen.

I am not surprised- what a fantastic doco. The Topp twins are inspirational and I thank Jools and Lynda for sharing their lives - good and not so good. Totally recommend this uplifting doco.
