Movie series Die Hard not dead yet

John McClane's string of bad luck may not yet be over.
Hitman screenwriter Skip Woods is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox to take a crack at a new Die Hard script.
The New York cop known for consistently being in the wrong place at the right time has already survived four run-ins with terrorists, traitors and psychotic loose cannons of one stripe or another.
In his last outing, Live Free or Die Hard, written by Mark Bomback and directed by Len Wiseman in 2007, McClane battled web terrorists to $378 million in worldwide grosses - 20 years after pitching Hans Gruber out of a broken window.
The studio sees another installment as a strong bet.
There's no word yet on the new project's story line, but former Fox executive Alex Young (Unstoppable) is producing.
Woods has co-written several high-profile projects for Fox, including X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the forthcoming TV-series adaptation The A-Team. He also wrote the original screenplay for Swordfish.
Bruce Willis, who plays McClane, has several projects moving toward release - Sylvester's Stallone's The Expendables and the action comedy Red - and then a late-summer production start on the video-game adaptation Kane & Lynch.
After that, he's free to dig out the stubble, filthy T-shirt and beleaguered wisecracks.

Can't wait for the T-shirt: Ho-ho-ho, Now I Have a 5th Movie Too...
It died with the PGR rating on the last film. If the man cant even swear when he is having a bad day, why bother?
I like the movies, but please improve on Die Hard 4.. it was average.
choice
Die Hard best movie ever simple.. So a another one would be fantastic :)
Die hard 1 - 4 have all been brilliant! Bring on 5! And don't dumb it down again for those that only liked 1 - 3. 4 had some great cheesy one-liners, and some great smarter one-liners too and was probably a little too techie for the average american idiot, but was the best of the bunch in my opinion. The only problem with the whole film was the stupid french hitman (spiderman really) character who just couldn't be injured. It was ridiculous the way he was beaten and didn't even get hurt (until he was blended). Keep em coming!
Hell yes, John McClane rocks. Bruce Willis isn't too bad either.
Die Hard is my most favouritist movies of all time, Bruce Willis is the freakin man! I don't even care how bad the storyline is, as long as I can watch John McClane kick some a$$!
