Rumours Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is in Wellington are supported by an apparent sighting at a local restaurant.
Staff at a Miramar restaurant say Pitt ate there with three other people around 6.30pm last night.
A worker said the manager didn't immediately recognise Pitt, the star of films including Inglourious Basterds and Fight Club, who was wearing a cap.
"But once he looked he realised it was a Hollywood star,'' he said.
Rumours on Twitter have suggested Pitt dined with Kiwi director Sir Peter Jackson.
However staff at the restaurant said that was not the case.

People talk about the Dompost reporting tweets etc as news but I would just be happy if they spell checked and grammar checked their articles once in a while. Re Brad. dont really care if he is here or not

Kieran #72 - no he's not Jesus Christ - but some people seem to think he is ...
motorhussy #43 "Director" is job, not a title.
Brick-layer Peter Jackson? Yeah I can really see that on Govt. forms.
WOW I saw him down oriental parade and nearly fell over, of course I went up to meet him, even though his minders were wary of bringing attention to him, I managed to hug him lol and shake his hand and grab a quick pic of him with my cellphone! it was sooo amazing and hes so spunky lol, one of his minders asked me not to put up his picture so I didnt!
This was on the front page of the Dominion Post this morning, and the girl reading the news on the radio couldn't pronounce "Khmer Rouge"... This nation's priorities are pathetic.
I think his plane was at the Palmerston North airport yesterday afternoon. Some fancy sporty white twin jet engine plane arrived about 1.30 and parked up behind the hangers yesterday, it took off about 8.30 lastnight never seen a plane like it before.
