Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has reportedly had her trademark mole removed from her chin.
The actress attended an all-star baseball game in New York seemingly without her famous mole on Tuesday.
Sources say the actress had the skin growth surgically removed but has kept the operation quiet.
A slight blemish was apparent on Sarah's face at the baseball game, but it isn't clear if she has had the mark removed or covered it up with make-up.
She appeared on the baseball pitch at the Yankee stadium with Sheryl Crow and baseball commissioner Bud Selig to ask the audience for donations to raise money for cancer research.
Sarah's mole has also previously come under attack from critics.
New York Observer writer Rex Reed said in his review of the recent Sex and the City: The Movie: "That growth on her face just gets bigger with every close-up, and in the full-length movie version of Sex and the City it's so distracting you can't concentrate on anything else. It's not a beauty mark."
Sarah has previously vowed to never have cosmetic surgery, saying: "I believe in ageing gracefully, and of course, buying as many anti-ageing creams as possible."
Other stars to have beauty spots and blemishes removed include Enrique Iglesias who had a facial mole removed in 2003.
Earlier this year, Scottish actor Ewan McGregor revealed he had several moles removed after a skin cancer scare.

she looks much better. i am not sure why people think if something grows on your body it looks good, or it should stay??? ugh! it is called taking care of oneself. anywho, she looks much better! i am sorry that people were so ugly to her both before and after the removal tho...these haters are the real ugly people! :(
My God guys, if you have anything that hideous on your face, have it removed already, especially if you are in the public eye & have the means to do so! This goes for Cindy Crawford or anyone else with a protruding mole or wart in a conspicuous area. By the way, warts are caused by a virus and usually should be removed anyway. Just ask your doctor to be sure!
I think she looks good with or without it. I agree with ED, there could be a medical reason behind a removal. Besides which that photo doesn't prove she had it removed, it could be covered with makeup, the lighting or maybe the angle the picture was taken. People have got to stop calling her names! She is a very talented and beautiful person. I commend her for not giving into hollywood pressure and being comfortable with herself the way she is!
yes i am glad she got her mole removed. it was annoying to look at.
There are so many more important things going on in the world that deserve attention.
Rather than unwanted moles, mishapen noses, flat chests etc...
There are also alot of much prettier women out there.
And pretty or not women who need help with the basic necessities of life like food, water, shelter and security.
So no, mole or no mole does not seem to warrant this publicity.
wow...she still looks gross...
i agree with jimbo!
I'm surprised it took her THIS long.....it was just plain ugly!
I really hope she has finally gotten that ugly mole removed. I agree with Rex Reed that whenever I see SJP onscreen, I can't help but stare at that horrible mole. It is incredibly distracting! Especially now that we have High Definition, it makes the mole look like a mountain. Gnaw that thing off!!
