Arnold Schwarzenegger, 67, pranks unwitting fans at Madame Tussauds by posing as Terminator waxwork - before coming to life

Arnold Schwarzenegger has pranked unsuspecting visitors to Hollywood's Madame Tussauds, by posing as a waxwork of himself as the Terminator.

The 67-year-old actor leaves fans screaming and running for cover as he "comes to life" after tourists pose for pictures next to him.

It's not entirely clear whether Arnie's victims realise that they have just got up close and personal with the real thing, rather than an impersonator, but their shock is patently genuine.

Schwarzenegger is also seen wandering down Hollywood Boulevard, mingling with street performers, hiding in plain sight as himself and delivering his classic "I'll be back" line.

Steel, not wax: Arnold Schwarzenegger comes alive at Madame Tussauds to the delight of this fan.

The stunt was to raise awareness for the star's charity, an educational foundation called After-School All-Stars.
