Kermit the Frog wants to be Tom Hanks.

The legendary puppet made his return to the big screen with his movie The Muppets earlier this year. Kermit has revealed which A-listers he dreams of acting alongside or singing with.

"Tom Hanks," he told the UK edition of OK! magazine. "If I were taller, less green and had hair, I'd want to be him. As for singers, it would be fun to duet with Adele some day."

However, Kermit's plan to collaborate with hugely successful British songstress Adele is unlikely to get the go ahead. The green star's jealous on-off lover Miss Piggy has a strong opinion on the subject.

"Sorry Adele, the frog isn't available anytime soon," she said.

The pair also discussed getting star struck. Kermit admits that his lover always leaves him speechless.

"Miss Piggy. She's the star I get struck by every time we meet," he said, before Miss Piggy added: "It's true. Usually moi is the one who wows other stars. As one would expect, they fall all over themselves meeting a diva of my celebritude."
