Aussie model Megan Gale has been cast in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. In the series that made Mel Gibson a star, Gale will join Aussies Abbey Lee Kershaw, John Howard, Angus Sampson and Gillian Jones in supporting roles in the post-apocalyptic film.
Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy take the lead roles.
The film is being shot in Namibia and South Africa, and Gale, who will play a mysterious and secret role, is reportedly heading there in September.
Miller previously cast the David Jones ambassador as Wonder Woman in the aborted Justice League project in 2008.
