The special event is one of many the cinema is hoping to be able to feature.

Cinema operations manager Ljana Sligo said it was great to be able to cater for smaller more locally-based events.

"We hope these types of events are something the community will really get behind and enjoy."

Ljana has been joined by Bev Hurst as front of house manager.

Together, along with a dedicated committee and volunteers, they hope to be able to offer something that will appeal to a wide range of the community.
