Sofía Vergara says Sharon Stone gave her lots of "tips and secrets" before their steamy movie scene.

The Columbian-born beauty had to get close to Stone for a raunchy sex sequence in Fading Gigolo. Vergara felt anxious before the cameras began rolling, but her experienced co-star was on hand to offer support.

"It was a threesome scene that we were doing, which I was a little nervous about," Sofía told FOX411. "She completely helped me with it. [She gave me] a lot of tips and secrets.

"It was amazing. I was a little nervous to work with such an icon. I had never met her. But from the moment she walked on the stage and the set - she's a real movie star. The way she is, the way she talks - everything."

The 40-year-old Modern Family actress also addressed speculation about her private life.

Vergara had a highly-publicised spat with her fiancé Nick Loeb on New Year's Eve in Miami. Although the star insists she is happy with her relationship, she has no idea when they will tie the knot.

"No, not yet," she explained. "I just came from a very big birthday, my 40th birthday. I did a really big party. I think when I get married, I guess I'm going to have to do another big party, because that's what my family expects. They'll be very upset [f I don't] and now I don't have the time."

Vergara 's new scenes for Modern Family see her character Gloria become a mom again. She loves working with newborn babies for the latest episodes - as long as they don't make too much noise.

"It's great for me that I'm working with little babies, like real babies, on the set," she gushed. "It's amazing how they smell. Everybody's fighting to have them in their hands. It's incredible. But at the same time, when they start crying and they won't let you finish the scene - you want to squeeze them. So, it's like a love and hate relationship."
