Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed has a new (better) trailer video

When a revolutionary technology allows Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) to unlock his genetic memories, he experiences the adventures of his 15th Century ancestor, Aguilar. Lynch then discovers he's descended from the Assassins, a secret society, who's skills and knowledge he learns, to help fight the Templar organisation in the present day.

If the first trailer made the Michael Fassbender starring video game adaptation Assassin's Creed look like a dirge, the latest one might just change your mind. 

Focussing more on the "how" of the fantastical world where "dressed to kill" is literal description, the latest trailer is a lot more fun and shows a little more of the action. 

Although it doesn't quite outrun the stink of other game adaptations - Warcraft wafts up a little in the clunky CGI - there's something definitely exciting about a cast that includes Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.

When Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, he discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society.

"I believe you are destined for great things," says Alan Rikkin (Irons) as he recruits career criminal Callum Lynch (Fassbender) into the Creed. Film and gaming fans certainly hope so.
