Michael Bay has kept up the Transformers tease with the release of another supercar to star in the fourth edition.

A 2013 blood red Pagani Huayra - named after an ancient Andean God of Wind - is the latest big name vehicle to join the line-up.

What's not known is whether the Huayra will be an Autobot or a Decepticon.

Filming for the fourth instalment of the action series - which has not been officially named yet - has begun in the US and due for release in the middle of 2014.

Vehicles already confirmed to star alongside the Huayra are a 1200 horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse, a Lamborghini Aventador, a C7 Corvette Stingray, a modified 1967 Camaro SS (to be Bumblebee), an Ultimate Sonic RS Rally Car and a custom-built Western Star truck that will of course be Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. (You can check out all the vehicles in the photo gallery above).

Human stars confirmed so far will be Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, T J Miller and Sophia Myles.
