Graeme Tuckett's movies: Going in Style and Raw

MAARTEN HOLL/FAIRFAX NZ

Graeme Tuckett reviews Morgan Freeman's latest movie Going In Style.

When three adorable elderly gentlemen lose their pensions and possibly their homes, they decide to even the score the only way they know how - by robbing a bank.

Morgan Freeman's Going In Style is a sweet-if-predictable film made sweeter by the presence of a great cast and a competent script.

It doesn't compare to French body-horror film Raw, which tackles cannibalism in a fresh (excuse the term) way.

French Horror film Raw is visceral and great.
SUPPLIED

French Horror film Raw is visceral and great.

Terrific and smart, Raw is is the real bloody deal and my favourite films of the year so far.
