There's a new trailer out for X-Men: Days of Future Past, the seventh X-Men movie, in which Wolverine goes into the past to save the future.

There's a lot going on in the trailer, which also features an old Charles Xavier confronting his younger self. "You're afraid," he tells himself. "I remember."

Jennifer Lawrence stars as the shape-shifter Mystique and makes nine appearances in the trailer, including one where she's jumping out a window.

"I know what I have to do," she says. "It's us or them."

Directed by Bryan Singer, Days of Future Past hits cinemas in New Zealand on May 22.
