The Prodigy, who performed at this year's Big Day Out festival, will perform at Trust Stadium in Auckland on February 25.
The band, featuring producer Liam Howlett and singers Keith Flint and Maxim, are currently riding high after a year that included the release of their acclaimed new album Invaders Must Die.
The band is most widely known for their hits Firestarter and Breathe from 1997's album The Fat of the Land.
Of their Big Day Out performance, Stuff.co.nz reviewer Chris Schulz said: "The Prodigy raved like it was 1997 all over again, sweating up a storm and delivering those big beat hits Firestarter, Voodoo People, Spitfire and Smack My Bitch Up with the manic intensity they're known for".
UK rock act Does It Offend You Yeah? will open for The Prodigy.
Tickets for the show go on sale on December 10.

Definitely going, already got a ticket. Missed out on BDO 09, so I look forward to it. One of the only advantages of living up in Auckland really :P
Definetly going. They were epic at the Big Day Out, esp when they busted out their new songs that noone had heard before. It was amazing hearing those songs live for the first time. Cant wait!
