Pop princess Kylie Minogue is raking in record amounts of cash, more than two decades after she had her first hit.
The 41-year-old star earned STG4.1 million in the year to April 2009, based on the latest accounts for her Darenote company lodged at Companies House in Britain.
The Mail on Sunday, which revealed Minogue's earnings, said most of the money she made during the year came from her 2008-09 world tour which raked in STG2.8 million.
The remainder was generated by record sales and royalties.
Minogue paid herself STG1.2 million and left the rest of the money in Darenote.
The singer's earnings are the highest she has produced throughout her career, amounting to STG11,200 a day.
Minogue is currently putting the finishing touches to a new album which she hopes to release within a few months.
