Juice TV gives out awards

The Juice TV Awards were tonight held in Parnell Auckland, but the network itself was rewarded with praise from those who make up the industry.

The Juice TV Awards were held last night in Auckland at a star-studded event celebrating the best of New Zealand's musical talent.

The video awards are seen as a launchpad for New Zealand's emerging new artists.

The J Williams song You Got Me featuring Scribe was one of the big winners on the night, getting two nods for Best Hip Hop Video and the Samsung Innovation Award.

Ivy Lies won the Break Thru Video Award for their song Addicted.

Video of the Year went to Dukes for the song Vampires.

The winners were voted for by the public with 60,000 votes cast across the 11 music video categories.

The Juice TV Awards will be aired on Juice TV Tuesday from midday, and again on Friday from 6pm.
