Disappointed U2 fans who failed to get tickets to the band's Auckland show on November 25 will get another chance to see the Irish superstars after they announced a second Mt Smart concert on November 26.
Tickets to the band's concert sold within an hour of going on sale last week. The response in Australia has been just as great, with second dates announced for Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
Tickets for Auckland's second show go on sale on Thursday at all usual outlets but U2.com subscribers will be able to buy tickets ahead of the public.

Am wrapped to have secured some U2 tickets today on the U2.com presale, I hope all those scalpers that bought up a storm to make a profit for the first show are up shit creek without a sale you selfish bastards hahaha.....I'd rather go on a Friday in any case..
FYI: U2 subscription enables members to purchase up to 4 tickets, thats only an additional $12.50 per ticket, no waiting, time off working etc etc. my accom is all booked, i'm done!
Hopefully the IT obstacles won't defeat my desire to go after waiting since they're last visit to New Zealand.

...yes if you want to pay the $50 to subscribe to U2.com, making the cheapest ticket a total of $89.95 and get in first.
I hope I will be going - if the ticketek site works this time.... Perhaps I need to stand in queue's :)
shouldnt the headline be JayZ announces second concert..guaranteed half the crowd leaves after he finishes..really there arent that many U2 fans in nz..
