Bjork has unveiled the new video for her latest single, and there's no surprise that it's a bit of a stunner.

The Michael Gondry-directed clip for Crystalline is from the singer's upcoming album Biophilia, the follow-up to 2007's Volta.

Gondry's solar system imagery and stop-start animation match the track's drum and bass influences perfectly.

The Icelandic singer is taking a multimedia approach for the release of her new album, with songs being composed and released via Apple's iPad.

Each song will be released as a single.
