When Dave Grohl and his Foo Fighters rocked Auckland last December he promised the gig would be eternalised in the band's next music video.

With today's video premiere of These Days - dubbed by the singer his favourite song he has ever written - he honoured his promise.

While most of the 50,000 people who attended the show on December 13 at Western Springs agreed that the band truly rocked the city, GeoNet delivered the scientific proof: The eager crowd had caused over three hours of sustained tremors during the concert.

GeoNet said the shaking was equivalent to volcanic tremors that might be felt at Ruapehu or White Island.

The video also includes some footage from their Australian shows from their Wasting Light Tour.
