Weezer have only toured Down Under once but after 16 years of rumours, the band will play in Auckland next year.
The band, led by Rivers Cuomo, will play their debut Blue Album from start to finish at Vector Arena on January 11.
Hitting the big time in 1994, the slightly awkward, geeky band from California fast became cult heroes, releasing songs like Buddy Holly, Islands in the Sun and Say it Ain't So.
The Blue Album was named in Rolling Stones' Top 50 albums of all time. Their Auckland show will also include Weezer rarities and fan favorites.
Tickets on sale July 26 from Ticketmaster.
