You can say a lot about Green Day, but certainly not that they're idle. The Californian punk-poppers are releasing not one, not two, but three complete albums in the next six months.
In a New Zealand exclusive Stuff is streaming their upcoming record, ¡Uno! today. The follow up ¡Dos!, is slated to be released in November and and ¡Tré! Is set to hit the shelves in January.
The albums are the follow-up to the Grammy-award-winning 21st Century Breakdown, and are being produced by the band's long-time producer Rob Cavallo.
"We are at the most prolific and creative time in our lives. This is the best music we've ever written, and the songs just keep coming," said the members of Green Day.
"Instead of making one album, we are making a three album trilogy. Every song has the power and energy that represents Green Day on all emotional levels. We just can't help ourselves... We are going epic as f**k!"
¡Uno! is out on Friday.
What do you think about Uno? Be the first to write us a review?
The stream only works for our readers in New Zealand.
