Lorde has paid tribute to David Bowie at the UK's Brit Awards, singing Life On Mars with his former tour band.

Bowie was given a posthumous award, which was followed by Lorde's emotional performance.

The band included guitarist Earl Slick, who had worked with Bowie since 1974 - the Diamond Dogs era.
