Kiwi favourites The Phoenix Foundation, Lawrence Arabia and Street Chant will join an eclectic mix of music talent at next year's Laneway Festival.
Organisers of the Auckland Anniversary Day event today revealed the first acts signed up to perform at Wynyard Quarter on January 28, ahead of a further announcement in January.
UK art-rockers Alt-J are coming down under along with Bailterspace, Brixton's Jessie Ware, Brooklyn quartet The Men, Phelps & Munro, Yeasayer, Iceland's Of Monsters And Men, Bat For Lashes, Cloud Nothings, Deer Park, Divine Fits, Japandroids, Nicholas Jarr and Auckland's Beach Pigs.
Tickets will go on sale on October 5 from www.lanewayfestival.co.nz and Ticketmaster.
