Two boy band superstars will perform together in Auckland next year.

Irishmen Ronan Keating and Brian McFadden will play a one-off New Zealand show at Trusts Stadium Arena, in West Auckland, on February 27.

Keating has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, both as a solo artist and as part of Boyzone.

He has provided songs for movies like Notting Hill, alongside 10 full length albums.

Keating, who last toured New Zealand in 2011, is a familiar face to Kiwi audiences thanks to his role as a mentor and judge on TV3’s X Factor Australia.

Westlife star McFadden, who went solo in 2004, has sold 40 million records. He is also the star of an Aussie TV show – Australia’s Got Talent.

The pair promise to play a collection of old and new songs and both are looking forward to revisiting New Zealand audiences.

“I can’t wait to play songs from my new album Fires to my Kiwi fans, and to go on tour with one of my best mates is just a bonus,” Keating said.
