Olympic gold-medal rower Mahe Drysdale shares the songs that keep him in top form.
1 Lose Yourself - Eminem
This really sums up what the Olympics are all about - that one moment, your one opportunity.
2 Sk8er Boi - Avril Lavigne
The words are great: "It's not who you are/It's what you are." That's my philosophy in life.
3 Angie - Rolling Stones
I love the Rolling Stones and this is a real favourite. It's one I relax to.
4 November Rain - Guns N' Roses
This is a classic. The words are very pertinent. I use this on my DVD showing my journey through London during the Olympics. "Nothing lasts forever." Enough said.
5 Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
This is a real pump-up song. I love Rocky videos and this is up there with the best, especially when you put it to images.
6 Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon
It makes me feel good whenever I listen to this song. I usually listen to songs pre-race and I'll listen to this when I want to be particularly pumped up.
7 My Immortal - Evanescence
My partner, Juliette Haigh, got this album for me and this song has become one of my all-time favourites. Amy Lee's voice is penetrating and beautiful.
8 Bleed it Out - Linkin Park
The rhythm of this track is a real energiser.
9 I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas
This a song I play when I'm heading out with friends for a good night. It's just a good, happy, fun song.
10 Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits
This song makes me think of my fellow rowers when we're at a competition. It's like we're going into battle together.
