Tickets for Beyonce's three shows in Auckland in October have sold out in 15 minute this morning.

The tickets for her performances on Thursday, October 17, Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 at Auckland's Vector Arena went on sale at 10am.

Promoter Live Nation said that the speed at which the tickets sold was unprecedented.

Only hours after the tickets went on sale, scalpers had already placed multiple ticket offers on TradeMe.

It will be the American singer's first solo show here, after touring as part of Destiny's Child in 2002.

Fans can expect to see a lot of sequined body suits, hot pants and pyro as Beyonce Knowles-Carter busts out her signature dance moves, accompanied by 10 dancers and a female band.

The only male performers will be twin dancers, sticking to her tradition of keeping her entourage mainly female.

Beyonce has enjoyed massive success with albums Dangerously in Love, B'Day, I Am . . . Sasha Fierce and 4.

This world tour is Beyonce's first since giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in January last year with hip-hop artist husband Jay-Z.

Will you be going?
