COMING TO NEW ZEALAND: OneRepublic
COMING TO NEW ZEALAND: OneRepublic

Want to hang out with Grammy winner and hit-writing machine Ryan Tedder? Here's your chance.

American pop-rockers OneRepublic are returning to New Zealand this weekend and two lucky Stuff readers have the chance to win a double-pass and a meet and greet with the guys.

Led by Tedder, OneRepublic will be rocking a swag of songs from their three-album repertoire such as: Apologize, Stop and Stare, Good Life, Secrets, All the Right Moves, Feel Again, If I Lose Myself and Counting Stars.

The opening slot to their two concerts in Auckland and Wellington on Saturday and Sunday will be taken by Ginny Blackmore.

OneRepublic, comprising bandmates Zach Filkins (guitar), Drew Brown (guitar), Brent Kutzle (bass, cello), and Eddie Fisher (drums), is fronted by in-demand songwriter and producer Tedder, who has contributed to some of the biggest pop songs of recent memory including Beyonce's smash Halo, Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love and Adele's Turning Tables and Rumour Has It, for which he won his first Grammy.

Formed in 2002, the band shot to the top five years later with the release of Timbaland Presents OneRepublic Apologize.

The remix track reached No 1 in 16 countries and still ranks in the top 50 of Billboard's Hot 100's of All-Time Top Songs list.

Apologize has also become one of the most downloaded tracks of the digital age, selling more than 10 million copies.

The track also dominated airwaves locally, peaking at No 1 and spending 30 weeks on the RIANZ singles chart.

Nearly four years on, OneRepublic have now released their third album, Native, offering a mix of piano-fuelled electronica, blues, gospel and folk influences.

They play Vector Arena in Auckland on Saturday, and TSB Arena in Wellington on Sunday.

HOW TO WIN:
