One Direction gave a shout-out to their New Zealand fans in their 7-hour-long live stream yesterday.

The broadcast to celebrate the band's new album Midnight Memories featured "New Zealand's bravest 1 D Fans": A group of teenage girls who showed their dedication to the pop heartthrobs by jumping off Auckland's Sky Tour.

Louis Tomlinson thanked their Kiwi fans saying he knows how scary the jump was as he did it himself when the band were in Auckland. His bandmate Zayn Malik has also fond memories. "I've got a tattoo of a snake," he revealed.
