Be the first to listen to up-and coming musician Louis Baker's self-titled debut EP before its released next week.

Of the five songs, four were recorded in London and one in New York as part of the Red Bull music academy.

Renowned for equal parts uplifting and tear inducing live shows, Wellington-based Baker's achingly raw lyrics intertwined with rich melodies and emotive vocal tone come together on his first release.

With a voice producing shades of Motown-era soul, Baker's song writing skills and striking sound leaves no question as to why international media have touted him as one to watch.

The EP is available for pre-order on iTunes and bandcamp.
