Justin Timberlake will play one Auckland show in October.

The pop star announced he will be coming to New Zealand as part of the world tour for his album The 20/20 Experience.

The album won three Grammys this year and Timberlake fans will get the chance to hear it live on October 12, a Sunday.

It is the first time Timberlake has toured here since three sell-out shows in 2007.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale from tomorrow, with the general sale starting on Friday.
