The Rolling Stones' Auckland show will now be held on November 22.
The Rolling Stones postponed their show, originally set for April 5, after L'Wren Scott, the girlfriend of frontman Mick Jagger, was found dead in New York.
Auckland Council-owned Regional Facilities Auckland said 55 per cent of the audience for the rescheduled concertwere from outside Auckland.
The event was expected to generate about $3.5 million in economic benefits for the city, it said.
Australian rock outfit Hunters & Collectors has today been annouced as support act for the show at Mt Smart Stadium.
Event organisers said tickets bought for the original date remained valid.
However, people who were unable to attend the new show could secure a refund from their original point of purchase before April 28.
Any refunded tickets would be available for purchase from 10am on May 2.
The rescheduling of the tour had allowed for two additional concerts in Australia, the organisers said.
