British singer songwriter Ed Sheeran is coming to New Zealand to play one free show in Auckland.

Sheeran has been keeping himself busy after opening for Taylor Swift on her 66-stop North America tour, as well as headlining shows at New York's Madison Square Gardens and recording a song for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

The redhead is teaming up with iHeartRadio who are presenting the free show at ASB Arena on 30 April.

The 23-year-old has just finished recording his second album, x (set for release on 20 June) and promises to play a lot of new music at his upcoming show. He was last in New Zealand in March 2013.

Fans can register at www.iHeartRadio.co.nz before lunchtime 17 April for their chance to win a ticket.
