AFRICA
Rhythms Del Mundo
(Southbound)

The self-proclaimed "fairy-godfunders of the climate change movement" follow up their Cuba and Classics albums with a compilation of African-artist remixes of some of the world's biggest hit machines.

Artists Project Earth supports organisations all over the world and this charity full lengther aims to tackle the drought hitting West Africa.

By kicking off with Coldplay and featuring the likes of Beyonce, Mumford & Sons, Red Hot Chillis, Aloe Blacc, Fleet Foxes and Bruno Mars (amongst others), the movement hits all the top notes of pop culture - the fact that the African remixing musicians include heavyweights such as the Ali Farka Toure Band, Toumani Diabaté, Bassekou Kouyate, and Rokia Traoré only adds to this super-smooth album.
