After 25 seasons, The Simpsons has crafted a style very much its own. Big eyes, overbites, small chins, (mostly) yellow skin - they're instantly recognisable.

Belgian illustrator Adrien Noterdaem, creator and operator of the "Simpsonized" Tumblr site, is an expert in the style, and has recreated pop culture icons as Springfield inhabitants since 2013.

"It seems easy, but it's a challenge to recognise at a glance the people with the graphical elements of the Simpsons," Noterdaem told Mashable in an email. "I've watched the Simpsons since the very beginning of the show, here in Belgium."

Take a look at some of Noterdaem's creations, practically indistinguishable to the real thing. Mmm ... art.
