Actor Charlie Sheen has renewed his contract for the television show Two and a Half Men.

There had been reports claiming that Sheen was looking to exit the sitcom.

A statement released by Sheen's publicist confirmed that he has a new contract on the top-rated comedy.

"To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I'm looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights," Sheen said.

The deal keeps Sheen on the show for two more seasons.
