New Freeview channel Choice TV has launched an online "On Demand'' channel.

The lifestyle and entertainment channel launched across New Zealand on Freeview Channel 12 ten weeks ago.

Choice TV general manager Alex Breingan said the on-demand service was ''vital'' for viewers who wanted to catch up after missing an episode.

The service has been specifically designed to be viewed on iPads, iPhones, Macs and PCs and is available at www.choicetv.co.nz/on-demand.

Choice TV will also launch on the Sky Television network in September.
