The Simpsons mock Donald Trump in spoof on '3 am call'

The Simpsons has weighed in on the US presidential race in an hilarious new clip entitle '3am'. 

Over the weekend, a short episode was released on YouTube parodying the "3am call" made famous by Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign for president.

In the Simpsons clip, Homer and Marge are watching television and discussing who to vote for when a political ad comes on. 

Do you want Donald Trump to be the one answering the calls in the White House?

"It's 3 am, and the phone's ringing in the White House," a voice narrates in a political ad "paid for by Americans who are really starting to miss Obama".

"Who do you want to answer that call?" the narrator asks.

So, are Homer and Marge swayed by the ad? Who will they vote for?
