Michael Moore's Trump documentary set to air on TVNZ
TVNZ1 will air Michael Moore's hotly anticipated documentary on Donald Trump on November 1, a week before the US election.
The creator of popular political documentaries like Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 announced on Tuesday that he has been working on a documentary on the controversial US presidential candidate over the past few months. Entitled Michael Moore in Trumpland, it was due to premiere at a special screening in New York on Wednesday afternoon our time.
Announcing its release on Twitter, Moore promoted it by saying: "See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election."

Moore has been a vocal opponent of Trump, claiming that he believes the former host of The Apprentice's campaign has been constructed "purely to negotiate a better salary with the show's network NBC".
TVNZ has confirmed that it has the rights to the documentary which it plans to air on November 1 at 9.30pm.
