A talent show contestant who makes fart sounds with his hands has been crowned the winner of Finland's Got Talent.

The reality TV show, Talent Suomi, crowned Antton Puonti this season's winner on Sunday night.

Puonti impressed judges and voters at home with his enthusiastic performance of John Lennon's classic Happy Xmas (War is Over).

Instead of showcasing his vocal ability, Puonti used his hands to emulate the sound of popping flatulence – while remaining perfectly in tune.

The fart sound extraordinaire beat out virtuoso harpist Lauri Schreck, ventriloquist Sari Aalto, the Gulf Gospel Choir, and artist Heikki Helastinen, to claim the season's grand prize.
