Richard Hammond was knocked out in the crash, according to the report.

Richard Hammond has reportedly been hurt in a motorbike crash while filming in Mozambique.

The former Top Gear presenter was knocked out in the accident, according to The Sun.

He was filming a new episode for the Amazon series The Grand Tour.

In September 2006 Hammond was seriously injured when he crashed at over 460km/h during a stunt for Top Gear.

He lost control of a home-made jet-propelled car before ploughing the grassy berm with his head after it flipped.

In his latest accident Hammond did not need to go to hospital, but The Sun reports his co-stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May were "shaken" by the incident in a remote part of the African country.

The presenters have been publishing pictures from Mozambique on social media but haven't made a reference to the reported crash.
