Real Housewife of Auckland Louise Wallace picks up role on Brokenwood Mysteries
Louise Wallace isn't just a housewife, she has acted, reported and presented and intends to keep beaming in to Kiwi lounges.
The former real housewife of Auckland has picked up a role on season four of Prime's The Brokenwood Mysteries.
She stars as a suspect during one of the four Brokenwood instalments.
Each two hour TV episode, an unusual and often brutal murder occurs in Brokenwood. Everyone except the victim is considered a suspect.
Shooting for each instalment took only about three weeks, said a publicist for production company South Pacific Pictures.
The production company was selling the New Zealand made television drama to 13 countries, as well as Sky Television in New Zealand.
New Zealand On Air last year gave $3.6 million in taxpayer funding to South Pacific Pictures for The Brokenwood Mysteries.
Wallace had preciously reported for 3News and acted on shows such as Shortland Street, Street Legal and Legend of the Seeker.
The publicist said Prime was expected to screen the show later this year, despite filming for The Brokenwood Mysteries continuing through June.
