Ex-Bachelorette applies for new local reality show
It seems at least one ex-Bachelorette is still looking for love - either that or another shot at fame.
A former unnamed Bachelor contestant has applied for a spot on new local reality show Married At First Sight NZ, according to NZME.
More than 4000 other singletons willing to marry complete strangers on television have also applied, with NZME reporting that Three had to double its casting team to cope with the huge number of people trying to get on the show.
Fans won't get to see the former Bachelorette on MAFS however, as apparently her bid for a second dose of reality TV love was unsuccessful.
Applications are still open for Married At First Sight NZ, which is a New Zealand version of a Danish show that sees couples meet for the first time at the altar and follows them as they try to make their marriage work.
Season 4 of the Australian version of Married At First Sight screened in New Zealand earlier this year.
The show has come under fire from church groups in New Zealand, who say it trivialises marriage.
