Kim Kardashian is reportedly "livid" about South Park making fun of her.

The reality star and her fiancé Kanye West were ruthlessly skewered on the animated show's season finale, which aired in North America on 11 December.

In the episode, Kardashian was referred to as "a Hobbit" who doesn't have the beauty or talent of Beyoncé.

"Kim is livid with what the guys from South Park did," a source told Hollywood Life.

"She has found nothing to laugh about with what the show did, and considers it an unnecessary attack. The only thing she is happy about is that they didn't make fun of North."

In the episode, the writers say the only reason Kardashian is considered attractive is because of photo retouching. They have West trying to defend his fiancée throughout the finale, but to no avail.

"You've ever heard of Photoshop? Kim Kardashian is a short overweight woman who manipulates her image and makes average girls feel horrible about themselves," the character Wendy said. "Look it up stupid, in real life Kim Kardashian has the body of a Hobbit."

South Park didn't stop at teasing Kim - the rest of the Kardashian family was also ridiculed.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians was described as a show about "short, loud little people living in a fantasy world".

Kanye's Bound 2 music video was also parodied.
