If people actually watched her show, you would know she is not self promoting, she tries to promote what a beautifull woman really is, top model she chooses women of different races, shapes and sizes so that the young girls growing up can relate to. She is a business woman, she owns and produces her own show, and she owns and produces americas next top model, one of the most watched shows in the world..all you haters, get out of your box, try think of the positive things she is doing for all the women out there.

It's great that Tyra is here! She's sexy (so is Jay Manuel)! She is spending money here, boosting the economy here and promoting New Zealand as a destination! I'm sad to hear so many people moan and complain (NZ is notorious for it - tall poppy syndrome). But then again all the whiney people don't make as much as she does or are as famous as her!

Can someone explain to me why TV3 news would describe Tyra Banks as a 'media tycoon'? What financial interests does she have in media outlets?
