Carly Flynn has announced she is pregnant with her first child.

The TV3 Sunrise presenter confirmed weekend reports during this morning's broadcast when co-host Oliver Driver asked her if she had any news.

"Yes, alright Olly, yes it is happening," Flynn replied. "There's no worm or eel in my tummy but there is a little baby."

Flynn said she was excited and "almost halfway" through the pregnancy.

It will be her first child with husband Dave Flynn. The pair married in 2006.

TV3 said there was no announcement on a replacement for Flynn while she was on maternity leave.

i agree with haley #5 that's wat i thought when i heard, she blatently said she did not have time to have babies and that they weren't even thinking bout it in the magazine. O well maybe it was a accident hehe aren't most of us
